I can’t praise this establishment highly enough. It was my first stop having arrived in South Africa that day and I stayed for a week. My room was clean and had all the facilities I needed but the stars of the show were the owners - Annamarie and Dave - who could not have done more to make us welcome. I had my birthday during my stay. My room was decorated and champagne brought to the pool area. Breakfasts were delicious, with freshly made bread and cakes available every morning. I’ve already booked my stay for next year.

A great stay. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by Doreen with a delicious home made juice. Our room although fairly small was beautifully clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good. A choice of a full English or pancakes, which were freshly made and plentiful.

You’ll get a warm welcome and a great stay if you choose The Potting Shed next time you are in Hermanus.

We spent 4 nights here and Annamarie and Dave were perfect hosts. Always on hand to recommend places to visit/ taxis etc. They serve a fabulous breafast too, cant wait to come back. Thankyou to you both, you made us feel so wlecome .

We had a lovely relaxing 2 Weeks at the Potting Shed. We stayed upstairs in the studio which gave us our own sun terrace.

Dave and Annamarie were lovely hosts . Both were good cooks making a lovely English breakfast with excellent homemade granola, pancakes, cakes and marmalade. The guest house is In easy walking distance from to town and coastal path in a very safe area.

Very beautiful accomodation, close to city center. Fabulous designed, safe car park. Breakfast is really nice, host friendly. All you need for a comfy stay is available. I would book this the next time again.
